Fashion show

I participated in the San Francisco State fashion show last May and wanted to share with you my two dresses that I made along with my outfit. All three garments were designed and made by me. Hope you like them! 

The first dress was created using unwanted garments from our school bookstore. I used two XL white t-shirts along with lace and a purple woven fabric that I purchased. It features a drop waist and lace bell sleeves 

The second dress is made of a lavender crepe. It has a full bodice lining and is finished with a zipper. It has a beautiful full skirt and moves while you walk. 

The last outfit is the floral two piece set that I am wearing. It is made of polyester microfiber and both pieces are finished with a zipper. 

New Jewelry Designs

New York Fashion Tour!

This last week I had the privilege to visit New York for a summer school class and had an amazing time! We viewed various aspects of the garment district, times square, Soho, Nolita, Greenwich and West Village. We were fortunate enough to see the design studio and showrooms of Marc Jacobs, Elieen Fisher, Nanette Lepore, and even met Carolina Hererra.

Long weekend

It's Friday!

Today was warmer than usual so I decided to finally wear shorts. Unfortunately it's not THAT warm still so I wore some tights underneath. This lace top was able to give me a bit of color then I finished my outfit with brown ankle boots and my brown Rebecca Minkoff 'Swing' bag.

Spring Saturday

Feeling great this morning, cleaned the house and am definitely ready for spring to be here! Chose a delicate lace dusty pink top with skinny jeans and awesome daisy pumps with yellow bows on the front. I absolutely LOVE these shoes and am planning to wear them a lot this spring/summer. Top off this look with a high sock bun and fun chandelier earrings.

Valentines

Thought I'd try to be a little festive yesterday for valentines day. Chose a magenta chiffon blouse, skinny jeans, and ankle boots to get in the spirit. Finished my outfit with some fun heart socks and love bracelet that my mom sent me. Also received some awesome goodies from my valentine in the mail which made my day 100X better.
